The construction industry needs hundreds of thousands more skilled workers, while a huge share of today’s tradespeople approach retirement. Demand for building keeps climbing; the workforce can’t keep pace.
Meanwhile, the on-ramp is broken. Apprenticeship programs are scattered across thousands of union halls, contractors, state agencies and community colleges. There has never been one national, searchable place to find them.
